Of Myths and Fables

Of Myths and Fables is a musical album I just released with the goal of each track to receive their own animated video. All of these images and videos were made using Blender, Maya, Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Substance Painter, Adobe After effects, Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop. This Album is about exploring the realm between man and machine, embracing a fictional hybrid of the two. Utilizing both visual and auditory means of expression, a mythos of a future's past will be constructed. Necatuss will become something both incredibly ancient and of the future at the same time. Embracing this duality I will further explore this sonic language I created based off of 3d rendered audio presented in a two-dimensional format, in conjunction with my musical exploration of a hyper narrative and cinematic electronic music. My work will also further explore concepts of an ancient religion of the future, exploring the creation of said mythos, and other aspects of rituality and repetition. This project will heavily explore my own cultural heritage as an Irish American and use the Myths from Ireland as an attempt to explore and reconnect with my own roots as an Irish American being that the persecution of the Irish during the great migration to America often leads many to forsake their own culture and mother tongue. My Ideal outcome would be something that is hyper layered, full of musical and art historical contexts that create this sort of archeology of a fictional past explored in its own fictional universe and something that can also exist without these narratives on its own, embracing a duality of Pop accessibility and artistic sensibility.
